Joni Kotts graduated from NDSCS more than thirty years ago. She enjoys working with a small group of people with doctors who set high standards and sharing laughter with all of them. She likes being part of a profession where she must continue her education and face challenges of new technology. Most important is the connection she has with many of her patients. She truly cares about them and what is happening in their lives.
Outside of work, she loves that her four grandchildren are just an hour away! Decorating cupcakes, going to the zoo, and attending dance recitals and hockey games help her maintain “active grandma” status. Joni and her husband, Kevin, spent much of their summer up in the Park Rapids, MN area. They found their perfect retirement spot…a lake home next to The Paul Bunyan State Forest.
Wendy graduated with a Dental Hygiene Degree at Minnesota State University in Mankato. Always the first to volunteer to assist anyone who needs help, Wendy is a cherished gem in our practice. Her favorite part of her job is giving someone confidence in their smile, always striving for a higher standard of dental care. Denise’s enthusiasm for the improvements that can be seen in your oral health will make your time here lots of fun. After hours, Denise can be found out on her family farm helping her father and brother. When not there, she is probably doing small home projects, spoiling her nephews and nieces or sharing laughs with family and friends.
Judy graduated from Minnesota West Community & Technical College in Canby with her Dental Assisting Degree. Judy hails from “Packer Country” Eau Claire, Wisconsin. But we don’t hold that against her, with more than 31 years’ experience alongside Dr. Hauger, Judy considers the practice and her patients as family. Playing many roles to keep the practice running smoothly, from ordering all the supplies to keeping the office “alive” with her green thumb, Judy is essential to our practice. She thrives on the camaraderie and pride for working in such a well-established practice. She enjoys coming to work each day and hearing the laughter of her co-workers and visiting with her patient friends. After hours, Judy is off spoiling her four granddaughters and two sons, watching the sunset from her patio, or participating in a victory dance after the Vikings made a touchdown. Correction: Judy meant to say, “Packers make a touchdown.”
